No real news on the baby front. I can say I feel her on her way, but what does that even mean to anyone who isn't me or my pelvis? It seems she'll be right on time. The due date is Saturday, or Sunday. Whichever the tenth falls on.
I've almost got everything I have on mind that we might need. Nursing bra's, detergent for the baby, wipes, clothes, many blankets. Greg got an awesome Ergo carrier for Christmas from his mum which I am hoping to share until I can get myself the Didymos wrap I want so badly. Unfortunately at the moment I there's no money for that, and plus one carrier will do. Seeing as there's only one baby! :)
I washed all the hand-me-downs, and the basinet lining two days ago, and since then all 3 cats have spent their days snuggling in it. Greg's friend Jenna suggested I sew baby a cat suit so that she can be accepted into the bunch.... Most definitely that will work, right?

DIAPERS!!!
Our friend Marissa, who used to work at Boutique Bummis, got us approved for a program they have with the Quebec CSSSs (CLSCs) to help out parents, who are not rolling in the money, cloth diaper their children. Basically you pay 35$ once and they give you 4 diaper covers, and 24 inserts in small size. When your baby outgrows those, you just bring them back and exchange them for the larger size. They reuse the small ones by giving them to families who cant afford even the 35$. Awesome.
I've got cloth diapers coming out of my ears! And all via hand-me-downs, or through this wonderful program. People say its expensive to have children, but really, its not. We have barely spent anything yet.
Its kind of a life philosophy I have going, not just with babies, that people are always trying to get rid of things, and that when you need anything, if you just put it out there, and are patient, it will come to you. It works. I learned this from Bubzee. Also being resourceful with what you have, and realising that actually you only need food, love, and maybe a roof (this being Canada). Life is really so simple, and wonderful, especially with babies.

Full Term!
37 weeks today! Well yesterday, seeing as its 1 in the morning. The baby still moves around A LOT. Mostly when I am trying to sleep. Walking around is pretty difficult, as if you can tell I have a head sitting between my hips. So its Waddle waddle waddle.
I have one exam left to do, and then I am officially on holiday, indefinitely. Well if you will call it that. Holiday and then mum, indefinitely. :)We arent completely prepared yet, for the baby, but things are getting there. Check out the sweet stash of cloth diapers handed down to us from our friends Hugo and Karin (and their kids Zack and Mila).
A bunch of the ones they gave us were handed down to them from family, and are ancient in terms of diapers. Things being used to their end is super awesome to me, and I am so excited about these. All we need now are some cotton prefolds for extra absorbancy situations like bedtime.
